Dear Parents,

This Sat, 12/16, will be the last day of the Chinese school in the year 2023. We will then have the winter break. Next semester starts on 1/20/2024. All classes will regular for this Sat.

Happy holidays!

Winter break is very important for our students to improve their Chinese at home. For some, it is time for them to make up classes they missed, especially for those who have missed extended periods of time. Many apps are available now to help students to practice pin yin and learn Chinese characters. For others, it is time to use their Chinese language skills to enjoy. We recommend watching movies or TV shows in Chinese, learning songs and poems in Chinese, etc.Teachers may have suggests for students too. We hope everyone can improve.

For students of the "paper sculpture" class, your teacher asks you to put your "almost finished" art piece in a box so that it would not get bent or broken.

For parents of dance class students, the default classroom for the dance class is 851. They will move to other classrooms if, and only if Room 851 is occupied by DBHS groups.

本周六，中文学校正常上课。寒假四周，新学期2024年1月24日开始。

寒假是中文学习的重要时间段。对那些因为各种原因缺课的同学，希望努力利用假期把这些课程补上。对于拼音薄弱，或者写字不熟悉的，可以利用很多App来帮助学习和巩固。对于其他的同学，假期可以看看中文的影视节目，学一些中文歌和一些中文的诗词。老师也可能给同学们一些假期的任务。希望在假期之后，我们能够看到大家的进步。

请纸雕课的同学把自己的作品放在一个盒子里，防止挤压，使得作品被破坏。

舞蹈课的教室是851，只有当851无法使用的时候，会使用其他的教室。

从明年起，我们将开始使用新的学校网址， www.dbcaa.com。学校相关重要信息及每周的通知都可以在这里找到。请家长们记住这个网址。
