Dear Parents,

This Sat, 8/31, Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00am-12:30pm.

Please let your kids know which classes (especially elective classes) they are going. If  you are still "shopping" for elective classes, please make up your mind soon. If your kids will not take the elective class, please come to their Chinese classroom to pick them up.

Due to increased enrollment, K-1 will split into two classes, K1 and K3. Current K-1 students should go to their previous classroom 262 on 8/31. Teachers will divide them into two classes. In case parents come to pick kids up after the Chinese class, K1 will still be in Room 262, and the spin-off K3 class will be in Room 263.

The number of Level 1 simplified class went down last week. We will keep a close eye on the number of students in that class. If more students enroll in that class, we will split the class in the future.

Our new elective class, the "Choir" class will start on 9/7. The registration for this class is still open. Please go to office to sign up.

Parents with younger kids may want to spend sometime to observe during elective class time. The goal of our elective class is to enable students to discover and develop different talents. At out school, we have many options to choose from. We want every kids find something they like.

Our office officially moved into Room 460. Sorry for all the delays and inconvenience in the first two weeks. We do not expect any issues with textbook anymore. If you have registered already, your kids should have the book. If not, please come to our office the first thing on Sat and pick up the book.

Chinese school has a dance class for parents, 10:30-11:30am. Welcome parents to join the class!

本週六，中文學校正常上課。

請告訴您的孩子他們需要去的中文課和才藝課。特別是才藝課。接孩子的家長請到才藝班教室去接，請準時。如果孩子不上才藝課，家長請到中文課教室去接孩子，年齡小的同學不能自己去學校大門口等候。任何情況下，學生如果需要幫助，請讓他們記住辦公室在460。

由於註冊人數的增加，從8/31日起，K1將分成兩個班，K1和K3。所有現在K1班的學生在週六早上都需要去K1的教室，262。在那裡，分班的名單將宣佈，老師將會把這兩個班分開。K1仍留在262教室，分出來的K3將會在263教室。

上週，簡體1冊班的人數有所下降，我們會密切關注該班的人數。如果人數增加，我們會及時分班。

“合唱班"將于9月7日開始。現在仍然開放報名，有意的家長請到辦公室辦理。

如果您的孩子年齡比較小，我們建議您找時間去才藝課觀察一下自己的孩子。我們開辦這些才藝課就是讓同學們有機會多接觸一些各種才藝，發現和發展自己的興趣。我們有很多才藝班，孩子應該能夠找到自己感興趣的。家長可以多瞭解這些班的情況，以及自己孩子在才藝課的表現，幫助他們培養自己的興趣。

我們的辦公室的搬遷已經全部結束。過去兩週，由於搬遷給不少學生和家長帶來了不便。謝謝大家的理解和支持。書本方面，如果已經註冊但還沒有拿到書本的，請週六一到學校就去辦公室領取。

中文學校有專門為家長安排的舞蹈課。舞蹈教室在851。時間是10：30-11：30am，希望大家參加！
