DBCS Reminder of week 9/30/2017

Dear Parents,

This Sat, 09/30, DBCS will have regular classes. It is also the day of DBCS Open House and Teacher-Parent Conference. Here are our arrangement for the day:

10:00-11:00am, Meet the Principal, we welcome parents to meet with our principal and share your thoughts about improving our school. Location: Room 572.

11:00-11:30am, Classroom visit/observation, we welcome parents to visit our classrooms and observe classes.

11:40-12:30pm, Parent-Teacher Conference, teachers other than those who still have elective classes will meet with parents in the lunch area of DBHS. Teachers of the following classes will NOT be available: K-2, K-3, Simplified Level 1, Traditional Level 1, Level 6. Parents of these classes can contact the teacher directly to discuss their classes.

During the conference, students will take regular elective classes, parents can pick up them after class.

For parents that referred new students to DBCS, as our appreciation, we will give a $20 gift certificate to each new student referred. The reference has to be established by the time of registration. Please go to the office to pick up if you have referred us new students.Thank you very much!

We have several classroom changes, Traditional level 3 will move from 565 to 566, Level 8 will move from 566 to 508 (downstairs).

Sunday, 10/1, 5:30-8:00pm at Pantera Park, Diamond Bar Moon Festival welcomes all of our students, teachers, families and friends.

本週六，中文學校學生正常上課。這一天也是學校的開放日和教師家長交流日。以下是日程安排：

10：00-11：00am, 校長將在572房間同家長座談，向家長介紹學校的情況，聽取家長對學校工作，課堂教學等的意見和建議。

11：00-11：30， 家長可以去各班旁聽、參觀。

11：40-12：30， 家長可以和老師交流各班級教學特點，學生學習狀況。由於幾位老師這個時間段還有才藝課，請家長和這些老師聯繫，約定見面交流的時間。這些老師包括：K-2， K-3，簡體一冊，繁體一冊，六冊。

在11：40-12：30期間，學生正常上才藝課，課後請家長接回學生。

介紹新學生給中文學校的家長，我們將給您$20的禮卷表達我們的謝意。請到辦公室領取。我們將根據新生報名表上明確說明的介紹人來辦理。

學校有幾個班級教室調整，繁體三冊從565到566教室，8冊從566到508教室（樓下）。

週日，10月1日，Pantera Park有鑽石吧中秋晚會，請同學，老師，家長及親朋好友都來參加，共度佳節！
