Happy Moon Festival!

This Sat, 9/17, DBCS will have regular classes from 9:00-12:30pm.

Please make sure your kids know the plan for pick up, such as where to meet and when. We require all young students remain in their classroom until picked up by their parents. If there is a misunderstanding, or temporary delay (such as traffic), please ask students to come to our office and wait their for pick up.

Please make sure your kids know which elective class they should go. Tell your kids when they have questions, please come to the office for help.

This Sat, Robotics class will have a meeting with parents to discuss details of the class plan and requirements. All parents of robotics students are required to attend. The meeting will be in Room 572, between 12:15-12:30. The Robotics class will extend for 10 mins and the class will be over about 12:40pm.

As some of our elective classes get cancelled due to lack of enrollment, we are offering a new elective class, Chinese Classic for Kids. In this class, students will study Chinese classics, such as “Di Zi Gui (Disciplines for Children)" or ”San Zi Jing （Three Character Classic)". Students are not required to read the classics, but they will learn the ideas and be able to recite some of them. Interested parents please come to office and sign up for the class. We want to keep this class small and fun.

中秋快樂！謝謝大家參加上週六在Pantera Park舉行的中秋晚會。

本週六，中文學校正常上課。

請家長和自己的孩子約好課後接的時間和地點。年齡小的同學必須直接在教室接。如果出現一些特殊狀況，請學生到辦公室詢問或者等候。有一些家長給孩子更改了才藝課。因為學校已經開學數周，大多數同學都已經知道才藝課上課地點，個別學生如果不清楚，請詢問中文課任課老師，或者到辦公室詢問。我們會幫助同學們找到自己應該去的教室。

本週六，Robotics課學生的家長請參加老師的說明會，會中，老師將詳細說明教學計劃。時間是12：15-12：30。 地點是572教室。 Robotics今後將推遲10分鐘下課，請家長做好安排。

學校正在考慮開設一門新的才藝課，中華經典誦讀，同學們可以學弟子規或者三字經，主要教學的方式以文化、故事為主，而不是識字。感興趣的家長請到辦公室登記，我們希望這個班人數不多，但學生認真，教學活潑。
