Dear Parents,

Happy Moon Festival.

This Sat, 9/10, the Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00-12:30pm. There is a chance that it will rain on Sat. If it rained before or during our tennis class, we may not be able to use the court. Students of the tennis class will be in room 305 and wait for parents to pick up. Our afternoon celebration events will be in the covered area around the Quad of DBHS. Unless a storm occurs precisely during 5-7pm, we expect the event will be held as planned. The 7-9pm performance will be an indoor event. Rain or shine, it will be on time.

Dance class for parents will be from 10:30-11:30am, Aerobic room.

Chess and Board Game Class will start this week, it will be in Room 309.

We welcome everyone to our Moon Festival celebration event from 5-9pm on Sat, 9/10. (Please see attached flyer) . From 5-7pm, there will be outdoor events. We will have a  live rock band, local business vendors, and games for kids, including a Photobooth, face painting, Chinese Riddles, and other carnival games.

Parents who have kids that are interested in the health care career can also attend the career panel discussion, with many experts from different health care sectors coming as panelists to discuss their career. (Please see attached flyer)

We will also have a great night of performances from 7-9pm at the DBHS Theater. We will have Chinese singing, dancing, and Chinese Martial Arts performances. Also, we will have the famous DBHS Orchestra, Dance, and Marching Band coming to showcase the very best of the DBHS arts. TIckets are required for this event. You can either purchase some as a donation to DBHS music program or if you prefer to come and enjoy a night of wonderful performances with families and friends, our Chinese school has some donated tickets. Send us a message if you will come, with information of the main contact person's name and the number of tickets needed. Please go pick up your tickets at our office in the morning. Tickets are first come, first serve.
