DBCS 9/1 Week School Reminder

各位家長,
本週六（9/1），中文學校照常上課。上課時間為9：00am－12：30pm. 其中，9:00-11:30am 為中文語言課，11:35-12:30為才藝選修課。接孩子的家長請到才藝班教室接回孩子。才藝班中，只有唱游班是為年齡小的學生所專設，唱游班老師會確保孩子由家長領回。希望家長準時。其他才藝班學生下課后自行離開教室，個別年齡比較小的孩子如果上這些才藝班，家長必須確保下課前到才藝班教室前等候。書法班為親子班，幼童必須由家長陪同一起上課。
以下才藝班由於報名人數不足而取消。合唱團，中華經典誦讀，中華文史講座，太極，請家長幫助孩子另外選擇才藝班，并把更改意嚮告知辦公室。
所有才藝班的更換必須在9月29日前完成，并完成轉班手續。
一些家長如果不知道自己的孩子在那個才藝班上課，請在送孩子上學時就查詢和確認, 以免在放學時慌亂。
網球課，籃球課上課地點比較遠，由於高中施工，行程不便。
本年度新生的書包，上週註冊學生的課本將于本週分發。所有學生將得到學生手冊。請學生和家長注意相關規則。轉班同學的家長請務必到辦公室辦理轉班手續。

Dear Parents,
This Sat (9/1), DBCS will have regular classes from 9:00am-12:30pm. 11:30-12:30pm will be elective classes. Please go to the elective class classrooms to pick up your kid(s). Among all elective classes, only “Sing and Play” class is exclusively for students under 6. Teacher of this class will wait for parents to pick up their kids. Other classes will dismiss. If you have young kids in other classes, please make sure that you are there to pick them up before the end of class. If you are not certain which elective class your child is registered in, please check and confirm when drop-off your child in the morning.
Young children under 8 must be accompanied by adults in calligraphy class. If parents can not be there, please put your child in a different class.
Tennis and Basketball classes are far from D building and the path is cut off by construction. The situation is unlikely to improve as the construction company is unwilling to allow short-cuts for safety concerns. If you have young children in these classes, please consider switch classes.
Four classes are cancelled due to low demand, they are, Chinese History and Culture, Chinese Classics, Tai-chi, and Choir. If your child is registered in one of these classes, please help them to choose a different class.
All classrooms and other facilities are rented from the Diamond Bar High School.  Please refer to the Student Handbook about rules and regulations regarding the use of these facilities.
