This Sat, DBCS will have regular classes from 9:00-12:30pm. Please send your kids to school on time. Tardiness will bring down grades and affect the quality of learning. Thank you!

Next Sat, Sept 2nd, Chinese school will have NO school as the district observes the Labor Day. Classes resumes on Sept.9th.

At DBCS, safety is always the top priority for us. Our teachers take care our students in classrooms. During recess, though we have teacher and TA supervise activities, we also want our parents to remind your kids to follow basic rules that they observe during in their own schools. Running and chasing during recess in crowded places is forbidden. Regarding picking up kids, please ask your kids to go to the office and wait for pick up rather than wandering around the campus to look for parents.

From this Sat, the DBCS PTA will resume dance classes for parents. The class is free and taught by a professional dance teacher. The class will be in the Dance room from 10:30-11:30am. All parents are welcome!

Currently, we have several elective classes that only have very few kids, they are, Chinese classics, Violin, Beijing Opera. Please consider switching to one of these classes.

本週六，中文學校正常上課。請準時在9：00上課前送小朋友到學校。遲到會影響學生的成績和教學的質量。謝謝您的合作！

下週六，9月2日，由於學區希望Labor Day放假，中文學校將沒有課。

中文學校一直把安全作為重中之重。教室里，我們的老師會照看好同學們。課間休息時，老師和一些TA 會巡視並維持秩序。我們請家長們提醒同學們，儘管中文學校是週六上課，同學們還是要遵守在學校的基本安全和行為準則，比如不要在人群中追逐打鬧等。在接孩子的時候，請到才藝課的教室或者上課地點接孩子，如果家長因故晚到，請告訴孩子到辦公室等候，不要在校園里到處找家長。3年級以下的學生不可以獨自到校門口去等候。

本週六開始，中文學校和家長會一起為家長們提供的舞蹈課. 這個課免費，並由專業舞蹈老師授課，歡迎家長們積極參加。時間： 10：30-11：30， 地點：Dance Room。　

目前，我們的幾個才藝課報名人數非常少，包括國學啓蒙，小提琴，京劇等。請家長考慮把有興趣學這些科目的小朋友轉入這些班級。
