DBCS Reminder of Week 11/12

Dear Parents,

This Sat, DBCS will have regular classes.

Last week, some of our students participated in SCCCS Fall Academic Competition. The award list is posted on our website, Congratulations!

We are thinking about adding another elective class, which will be focused on Chinese by our teacher, Mrs. Tsai. The idea is combining singing, games, and other fun elements with Chinese poems and classics. The class is intended for lower level students. If you are interested, please come to our office to register. Once we have enough people register for this class, we will start the class.

本週六，11/12，中文學校正常上課。

上週日，我校的一些學生參加了南加州中文學校聯合會秋季學術比賽，並取得了好成績。獲獎名單已經在學校網站公佈，祝賀！

為提高同學們學習中文的興趣， 學校準備開設一門新的才藝課，“說說唱唱學中文”。 主要教學內容: 兒歌、唐詩； 教學方法: 將唱歌、朗誦 、遊戲 、畫畫的方式融入教學中； 教學目標: 小朋友能夠唱中文兒歌和能夠將唐詩朗朗上口，提高他們對中文的興趣。這個班適合低年級的同學選修。由K-2葉老師教授。 感興趣的家長可以本週起到辦公室報名，人數足夠后，學校會做開班通知。
