DBCS reminder of Week 5/20

Dear Parents,

This Sat, 5/20, DBCS will have the last school day of the 2016-17 academic year from 9:00-11:00am. . There will be no elective classes on Sat. Also, as the last day of school, we will have an early release at 11:00am. Please make arrangement accordingly.

Since we can not use the DBHS theater, the award ceremony and certificates will be held in each class. Many classes will have performances (Chinese songs and poems, etc.). We hope all of our parents can join us for this special day and celebrate the completion of this academic year.

Thank you very much to all our parents. As a parent myself, I understand very well how hard it is to get our kids to go to Chinese school every Saturday. I believe our devotion and persistence have tremendous influence over our children. Thank you!

Every Sat morning, for 30 mins before the class begin, our teachers have weekly meetings. At these meetings, teachers discuss issues and share ideas and experiences with each other. As educators, we want to make the learning experience fun and fruitful. We will keep improving.

Our early registration is ongoing. If our current student can register early, we can make better decisions regarding the number of classes and teacher assignment. Of course, you can also take advantage the $50 discount. If you have not done so already, please come to office to get the registration form or you can get it online from our website:www.dbcaa.org. If you or friends want to register during the summer, the best way to contact us will be through email.

本週六是中文學校本學年的最后一次課。時間是9:00-11:00am. 本週六沒有才藝課。家長需要在11：00把孩子接回，請務必做好安排。

由於高中禮堂無法使用，結業式和頒獎都安排在各班分別進行。很多的班級安排了精彩的節目，家長們可以聽到他們唱的歌，念的詩等等。希望所有的家長都能參加。

在此，想向每一位家長表示衷心的感謝，感謝大家每個周末把孩子送來上中文課。其中的艱辛，作為家長，我自己也深有體會。我相信我們對中文學習的熱情和堅持對孩子會有很大的影響。

每週六上課前半小時，我們學校的教師都會開教學會議，大家利用這個機會交流經驗，解決在教學中遇到的問題，不斷地提高教學水平。我們希望通過不斷努力，讓孩子們學得開心，學得有收穫。我們今後還將不斷努力。

我們的提前報名在進行中。目前在校的學生如果能夠做好提前報名，我們將能夠更好地確定班級的設置及老師的安排。當然，您還可以得到50元的折扣。所以，請尚未註冊明年中文學校的家長盡快安排註冊。您可以到辦公室取得註冊表或者在我們的網站下載註冊表： www.dbcaa.org. 暑期中，如果您或者您的朋友想報名，最好的途徑是通過電子郵件同我們聯繫。

另外，鉆石吧華人協會”第27屆年會訂於2017年6月4日星期日5:00pm-10:00pm在“Pacific Palm Resort”舉辦，現席位開始認購中，VIP桌：$100/位，普通桌：$75/位。為彰顯此次盛會的主題---“薪火相傳、激情再續、鉆石永恒”，屆時將為來賓們呈現上精彩紛呈、激情四射的原創文藝節目！還有幸運抽獎、星級佳肴相伴，真誠邀約您一起來參加此次盛會！另外接受愛心捐贈和義工！所得善款將全部回饋中文學校和社區。
