DBCS Reminder of Week 8/24

Dear Parents,

This Sat, 8/24, Chinese school will have regular school from 9:00am-12:30pm.

1. Please make sure that your kids know which Chinese class he/she is going, and which elective class he/she is going. Send your kids to the Chinese classroom in the morning and pick them up at 12:30pm from the elective classroom. You and your kids have to be on the same page regarding which class he/she is going. Our elective class teachers will wait until all kids are picked up. In case some parents are late, kids will be send to our office. Please let your kids know you are going to meet them at the elective class instead of the front gate. Please pick them up on time at 12:30pm.

2. Simplified Level 1 class most likely WILL be split into two classes on Sept 7. We will let things settle a little more regarding try-outs and level choices.  We are also coordinate with DBHS regarding classroom for additional classes.

3. We will have the Choir class as elective class from Sept 7. Beijing Opera is cancelled. Sing and Play Chinese, Arts and Crafts are still waiting for enough students to sign up.

4. Mental Math and Tennis class are full for now. Students can switch out of these two classes but not into these classes.

5. Some students have not indicated elective class choices on the registration form. Please let us know if you have not. When switching elective classes, please send an email to us or go to office to leave a note.

6. For Level K students, if the homework requires listening comprehension, instead of using the CD which has yet to be distributed to students, please go to this webpage http://www.mzchinese.net/Resourc ... ional-Lesson0.html. K2 class will distribute books this Sat.
