Dear Parents,

This Sat, 4/14, Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00-12:30pm.

For those students who registered for the SCCCS Spring Academic Competition in Poem, Classics, and Speech, our training session will start this week in Room 577, 11:30-12:30pm. If you will compete, please get ready. During the training sessions, teachers will help you to rehearse and get ready for the competition.

Last month's seminar on college admission was a great success. This Sat, we invited another leading institution, FLEX College Prep, to give parents a seminar on designing the 4 years of high school, college admission and apply for scholarship, etc. The seminar is OPEN to all parents, friends and families. Location room 558, 10:00-11:30pm.

On April 28th, Haihua Chinese American Games will be held at Walnut. There will be fun Chinese traditional games (competition) for our students, friends, and families. If interested, please come to office to register. We will post related information on our website.

參加5月6日南加州中文學校聯合會春季學術比賽的同學請從本週六開始參加賽前的培訓。時間是11:30-12:30, 地點為577教室。請自己準備好要參賽的內容，比如記熟詩，經典和自己的演講稿等等。

上個月，很多家長和同學參加了“萬里”關於獎學金的講座。本週，我們再請了一個本地知名的機構，FLEX College Prep，來給我們的家長和學生辦關於計劃高中四年，申請大學，申請獎助學金等的講座。時間是10:00-11:30am, 地點是558教室。講座向所有的家長，學生，親人和朋友開放。請相互轉告！

本月28日，海華運動會將在Walnut High舉行。屆時除50米，100米跑，還有一些老少皆宜的傳統遊戲。海華運動會希望鼓勵華人子弟能夠更多健身。有興趣的同學、家長可以到辦公室報名。詳情請注意在學校網站發佈的信息。
