DBCS Reminder of Week 9/15/2018
Dear Parents,
This Sat, Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00am-12:30pm.
This Sat, our new elective class, Paper Sculpture, will start in Room 562. This class will need to use tools and materials that have to be purchased prior to the class. 8 tools is shown in attachment. Students will complete 2-3 very beautiful paper sculpture art works this semester. Parents of this class' students, please go to office and make payment of $50 when you drop off your kids. Without the tools, students have no way of working on their projects.
This Sat, our Parent Association's Seminar Series will continue. This week's topic about parenting. Flyer is attached. The seminar will be in Room 565, at 9:15am.
Parents, mark your calendars, 9/22, Diamond Bar Chinese American Association will host the annual Diamond Bar Moon Festival Celebration. This year, the event will be at Diamond Bar High School Campus. From 5:00pm, evens will start with fun games, face painting, kids can experience Chinese traditional games, make traditional crafts, and everyone can enjoy foods and check out business booths that include many local educational institutions. From 7:00pm, there will be a wonderful cultural performance inside the Diamond Bar High School Theater. It will be a wonderful opportunity for our students, parents, families and friends to get together and celebrate the Moon Festival. There will be a lot of prizes and gifts from our sponsors. We welcome everyone from our community to join the celebration.

本週六，中文學校正常上課。
本週六，新的才藝課，“紙雕藝術” 課將開課。這門課需要用特殊的工具和材料，所以每位學生需要交50元購買（其中工具$45，材料$5). 工具的圖様如附件。同學們將在這個課上製作出精美的紙雕藝術品。如果上課沒有工具，同學們將無法動手製作。所以，請家長務必在早上送孩子上學的時候就到辦公室繳費。
本週六，家長會組織的系列講座將繼續進行，本週的主題是“親子關係”，時間9：15，地點：565教室。
此外，由華協和中文學校舉辦的一年一度的“中秋晚會”將於9月22日舉行。活動將在鑽石吧高中。遊園活動下午5點開始，包括傳統童玩，節日特色手工，猜燈謎，畫臉等遊戲，此外還有小吃和本地的許多工商攤位，其中包括一些本地的才藝教育的機構。歡迎我們的同學，家長，家人和朋友，以及其他各族裔的朋友一起來參加，感受中秋的文化。孩子們玩遊戲不僅有很多樂趣，還可以獲得精美的獎品。
