Dear Parents,

This Sat, 10/27, Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00-12:30.

It is the Halloween! This year, the Parent Association will organize the Halloween costume parade. Put on your costumes (with good taste) and parade with your classmates. Parents will have very good treats for those who ask. The top 3 best dressed class will earn a pizza party. Siblings are also welcome to join. The parade will start at 9:30am.

This Sat, we will have Chinese Characters game. Students will given chance to show off their ability to recognize Chinese characters. All participants will have prizes. This is an activity aimed to motivate our students. The Top 5 finished in the game will form a team and representing DBCS to the live TV competition. Students have the words list and please help them refresh their memories.

This Sat, we will also have the annual DBCS Handwriting competition. Winner of each class will get cash prize.

本週六，中文學校正常上課。

萬聖節到了！家長會組織了“萬聖節遊行”， 小朋友們，穿上你的道具服裝，和同班同學一起來'Trick or Treat"。參與最積極，服裝最吸引人的三個班級將得到一個“Pizza Party”。 兄弟姐妹都可以參加，9：30開始。

本週六，是“漢字王”比賽的日子。同學們可以比賽認漢字。 參與者均有獎品鼓勵。希望此活動調動同學們學習中文的積極性。全校表現最好的，其中3位最優秀的10歲以上學生和2位表現最好的10歲以下學生將組隊代表鑽石吧中文學校參加“漢字王”電視大獎賽。同學們都有字庫，請有時間事先準備。

週六也是學校一年一度的硬筆書法比賽的日子。每個班的勝者，將有獎金。
