DBCS Reminder of Week 5/18/2019

Dear Parents,

This Sat, 5/18, Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00am-12:30pm.

Next Sat, 5/25, will be the last day of our school. This year we could not secure the usage of DBHS Theater. So we will not have the Honor's Day event. However, we will have the certificate and award ceremony in class. On 5/25, the school hour will be 9:00-11:00am.

There are two weeks left for early registration for 2019-20 academic year. Each student will get a $50 early registration discount if the registration is received before 5/31. Please register early. Registration form is attached. Please refer our school to your friends and families. When they register, just add your kids' name on the registration form. We will give you $20 gift cards per student as our appreciation when the new semester starts.

There are several events that our students may consider participating.

1. City Children's Poem Festival, by the City Magazine and EDI media. The event will be on 7/13, at Baldwin Park Performing Art Center. Registration at school office.

2. Chinese-American Youth Talent Competition by CCTV.
3. Chinese Youth Summer Camp,

We will post information that may enrich the summer life of our students on our website www.dbcaa.org.

本週六，5月18日，中文學校將正常上課，9：00-12：30.

下週六，5月25日，是本學年的最后一次課。由於高中的劇場沒有辦法使用，今年將沒有全校的結業式和頒獎禮。相關活動將在各班進行。5月25日上課時間為9：00-11：00.

2019-2020學年的提前註冊還有兩個星期，提前註冊的學生將得到50元的折扣。註冊表見附件。請家長們推薦我們的學校給新學生，請他們在註冊時寫下您孩子的名字，開學後，我們會給您20元購物卡以表謝意。提前註冊有利於我們購買課本，安排教室和教師。謝謝大家！

以下是一些我們同學可能感興趣的活動，我們會把收到的相關信息及時在學校網站發佈，www.dbcaa.org ,有興趣的家長和同學可以關注。

1、城市兒童詩歌朗誦比賽，特別推薦我們學校詩歌朗誦比賽優勝的同學參加。形式是舞臺表演，家長可以觀看，評分公正。

2、美國星光青少年才藝大賽

3、中國“尋根之旅”夏令營
