DBCS Reminder of Week 5/14

Dear Parents,

This Sat, Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00-12:30pm.

This Sunday, 5/15, some of our students will participate in the SCCCS Spring Academic Contest. The detailed information regarding time and room was given to students last Sat. If you do not have the information, please come to office or go to SCCCS website for those information.

5/21 will be our "Honor's Day", we will have performance and award ceremony at DBHS theater. Time is from 9:00-11:30am. If you want to perform, please come to the office this Sat so that we can put the program together.

On our website, there are information regarding Chinese-study related events and activities. Please check all information and see if you are interested in attending, such as the Chinese YMCA Summer Camp at the Big Bear, etc.

For those who have yet registered for 2016-17 academic year, please take advantage of our early registration discount. Early registration will benefit us when we make decisions on teachers' assignment, textbook orders, and classroom reservations. Please refer us to your friends. On May 21st, most of us will be at the Honor's Day event and the time is very limited. So the best time to register if you have not done so already is this Sat.

本週六，中文學校正常上課。

週日，我校參加中文學校聯合會春季學術比賽的同學將參賽，有關具體時間和考場信息已經發給同學如果沒有拿到的，請到辦公室領取或者到聯合會網站查詢。

5月21日是我們的文藝匯演及頒獎儀式，將於9：00-11：30在鑽石吧高中禮堂舉行。有意表演的同學請到辦公室登記。以前已經登記的同學請把曲目詳情告訴我們，我們好做節目單。

在我們的網站轉發了很多同中文學習有關的比賽和活動的信息。比如説“城市兒童詩歌朗誦比賽”，“城市兒童繪畫比賽”， "青少年華語風采人才選拔活動“， 中文YMCA夏令營（説中文，在大熊湖的營地）等等。希望大家踴躍參加，展示風采，提高中文水平。

沒有註冊2016-17學年的學生請盡快註冊，提前註冊不僅有折扣，對學校而言，也方便我們做好分班，分配老師，訂購課本，預約教室等工作。我們也希望大家多把我們介紹給自己的親友。 因為5月21日大家都會忙於結業式，所以最方便的時間就是本週六，希望尚未註冊的家長們做好安排。
