This Sat, 3/9, Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00-12:30.

Last week's Poem Recital Competition was a great success. Many of our students prepared very well and performed even better. The list of outstanding students in this contest will be posted on our website. Congratulations!

Southern California Chinese School Association's Spring Academic Contest will be held on May 5, at Acadia High. Every Spring Contest, there are three categories: poem recital, classics recital and speech. It is a great opportunity for our students to get more involved in their Chinese study. If your kids are interested in attending any of these categories, please come to office to register. The registration deadline is 4/6. 上週六的詩歌朗誦比賽非常成功，很多同學認真準備，表現突出。優勝名單將在學校網站公佈，每班的第一名將得到獎金。

南加州中文學校聯合會的春季學術比賽將在5月5日在Acadia高中進行，比賽項目包括詩歌朗誦，經典背誦，演講等。比賽按照年齡分組，每個學校參與學生按照年齡組別和項目組別有參加人數限制，所以請有意參加的學生家長及早到辦公室報名。報名截止是4月6日。為了幫助參賽同學，3月30日起，我們將有專門的培訓課，在才藝課的時間幫助參賽同學準備。有興趣的家長請到以下網頁查看詳情。 http://www.scccs.net/events/even ... ringContestMain.htm
