Dear Parents,
This Sat, 10/25, the Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00-12:30pm.
For the computer class, we have some major changes. Many of you have noticed that all the desktops in the computer lab have "gone". Diamond Bar High School no longer wants those very old desktop computers. Instead, their computer class will ask the students to bring their own. Since all high school students have laptops from the school already, this is not a problem for them. Meanwhile, the old desktops are recycled and gone. We are trying to see if we can get the Diamond Bar High School to find some laptops for our class. So far, no success. While we are still trying to find laptops for students to use, we have to ask students to bring their own devices to the computer class in the meantime. Laptops, ipads or other devices that can access to internet should do. Ms. Lin, the computer class teacher has adjusted the teaching so that no locally installed apps are needed. If the students are too young to take care of the devices, parents can leave the devices in the office when dropping off and students can pick up when they go to the computer class.
