Dear Parents,
Welcome to DBCS 2025-26! Our first day of school will be this Saturday, 8/16.
All Chinese classes and elective classes will start.
Parent Yoga class will be at 9:30-10:30am, 851.
Please make sure your students know which Chinese class he/she will go to and which elective class he/she will go to. Make sure the person who sends kids to school knows the Chinese classroom and the person who picks up knows the location for elective classes. The Chinese class starts at 9:00am. Please send them in by 8:55am so they can find their room. Please come to pick up at 12:25pm, so your students can meet you when their elective class finishes at 12:30pm. Please let every student know, in case parents are not there to pick them up on time, they should go to the office and wait there. DO NOT go anywhere else. Please pick up on time. If you have students taking tennis or dance class, let them know they should wait in front of Room 311 for people to take them to the tennis court or dance class. Students can not go directly by themselves. Parents should go to the locations where those two classes are directly to pick up. Please pick up those students first and then come to the main building (300 building) to pick up siblings.
Currently, we do not have enough students signing up for the Chinese Yo-Yo Class and the Chinese Calligraphy class. So we will cancel the Chinese Yo-Yo Class. We will not have Chinese Calligraphy class for now. If we have more students sign up for it when the school starts, we will announce. Meanwhile, please make sure your students know which elective class they should go to.
For students of the violin class, please bring your violin. Also, there will be a meeting with parents briefly before the end of class. So please go to Room 312 at 12:10pm for the meeting.
