Dear Parents,
This Sat, 9/7, Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00am-12:30pm.
From this week, school will address the tardiness issue seriously. Parents, please send your kids to school on time (before 9:00am). Every classroom will start to take attendance at 9:00am. Tardiness will affect student grades and prospects of awards and prizes in the future.
The new elective class, "Choir" class will start this Sat, in room 262. The teacher of the class majored in Music education in college and completed graduate study in Music Education in the U.S. The goal for her is to have a choir that can showcase the music talents of our students. If you have registered for this class, you can go to Room 262 directly. Otherwise, please notify us through email or go to our office. The teacher expects good attendance for the Choir class because absence makes it harder for the class to progress as a group. If the attendance is poor, we will switch the student out of this class.
Once again, we ask parents to make sure your kids go to the right Chinese classroom in the morning. Also, your kids should know which elective class he/she is suppose to go. Parents should know the location of the classroom to pick up. Let your kids know if they do not know where to go, they can ask. Please send kids to school on time and pick up them on time. Young kids must be picked up at the classroom. They can not walk to the front gate and wait for pick up there.
School will send communication to parents every week via email. At the same time, the message will be posted on our website, www.dbcaa.org. Please check our website for information about our classes, calendar, bell schedule and others.
