Dear parents,
We will send out the same message in Chinese tonight.
Welcome back to Diamond Bar Chinese School!
Our first day of school will be this Sat, 8/17, from 9:00am-12:30pm. Due to renovation of the 500 building of Diamond Bar High School, all our classrooms are moved.
For students who have completed the registration, please find your Chinese classroom assignment and elective classroom assignment from the attached list. Textbooks will be distributed in class by their teachers if they have completed the registration.
For students who have not completed the registration, please complete the registration before sending your kids to the Chinese classroom. We will have registration table at the front gate on 8/17. You can also register in our office (583). Once you completed the registration, please bring your receipt to pick up the textbook from the office (583).
Please remember the name of the class and the classroom for that class. Parents, please send the kids to their Chinese classroom in the morning and pick them up from the elective classroom at 12:30pm. At the end of the Chinese class, we will have teachers helping kids to find their elective classroom. Please make sure your child knows which elective class he/she is supposed to go. We will organize them to go together to their elective classroom in the first two weeks.
Students of younger age must be picked up from the classroom (from the Chinese classroom if no elective class, otherwise from the elective classroom (location)). Just in case of confusion, please let the kids find our office (583 for this week), instead of going out to the gate.
If students need to change elective class, please go to office and leave a note to us. Currently, two elective classes Sing and Play, Arts and Crafts are in suspension, due to lack of enrollment. We will also offer an Voice and Choir class. If interested, please send email or go to office to sign up. Once we have enough people signed up for the class, we will have the class.

For parents whose kids are no longer with us, you will received our communication for the first two weeks. We will stop sending you emails after that.
