Dear Parents,
Chinese school will have regular classes this Sat, Oct 26.
The annual Fall Academic Competition organized by Southern California Council of Chinese Schools will be on Nov 17, Sunday. Registration for the competition is due next week. As usual, students can choose to compete in Calligraphy (Brush and Pen), Translation, Writing (Picture-story and Essay) , and Chinese Poster Drawing. In each category, each age group can only have 5 participants from one Chinese school. Please register this Sat if you are interested. If you have any questions, please refer to the following SCCCS webpage:
DBCS will send out registration form by next Tuesday. To encourage participation, DBCS will pay half of the registration fee for this competition.

本年度中文學校聯合會秋季學術比賽的報名即將截止，請有意參加的家長和同學本週六到辦公室報名。下週二，報名表必須寄出。今年，學生可以選擇參加硬筆書法，毛筆書法，翻譯，看圖作文，作文，中文海報等6個項目中的一個。每個學校，每個年齡組，每個項目最多有5個人參加。比賽時間為11月17日，週日，地點為Acardia High School. 有問題，請參考中文學校聯合會的網頁：
