Dear Parents,
This Sat, 4/27, Chinese school will have regular classes.
For parents of those who will take part in Spring Academic Competition, please ask the participants to attend the last two training sessions. We will divide the training sessions into two classes and everyone should at least have some practices and training. Many participants need more practice at home. At least, by this time, all should be fluent in their poems or classics. For younger students, we welcome parents to join the training sessions too so that parents also knew what is expected. We are still waiting for the details of time of each individual's competition. Once we receive it, we will send it to all. The competition will be held on May 5th, in the morning, at Arcadia High School.
Chinese school will have a year-end Award ceremony and Talent Show. Several elective classes will perform and we are also looking for talented individuals to perform. Parents Association are helping in organizing this event. Individuals can perform singing, dancing, music instruments, and others. We will use the DBHS theater for our show. Please contact us if your kid(s) are interested in performing.
Chinese school will start to make arrangements for elective classes and also language classes for next academic year. Please let us know if you have suggestions or concerns.

本週六，中文學校正常上課。
參加春季學術比賽的同學，請務必參加最后兩個培訓課。負責老師認為同學們的準備還不令人滿意。希望家長敦促參賽同學熟記自己參賽的內容，訓練課更多的是幫助糾正發音以及如何參賽，是否流利還需要靠同學們自己努力。參賽的具體時間組織者還沒有排出，一旦得到相關信息，我們會盡快通知家長，以便家長安排。比賽將於5月5日上午在Arcadia High School舉行。
