DBCS Reminder of Week 10/3
Dear Parents,
This Sat, 10/3, DBCS will have regular classes. Please note that DBCS will have no class on Oct 17th, as all facilities will be needed for PSAT testing at DBHS on that day. You can always find our calendar and other information on our website: www.dbcaa.org.
This Sat will be our parent-teacher conference day （Open House）. Parents can visit the classroom after 11:00am. Teachers will meet with parents at the DBHS lunch area downstairs from 11:30 to 12:30pm. For students, they will have their regular elective classes. Some teachers will have to teach elective classes during that time, they are K-1 (Teacher Xie), K-2 (Teacher Kuo), K-3 (Teacher Ye)，and T-1 (Teacher Du). Parents of these classes, please make appointment with the teacher to discuss your concerns with the Chinese study of your kids.
Due to the unavailability of the teacher, the elective class, Clay Sculpture will be replaced by Paper Sculpture, effective from this week. Students of that class are encouraged to stay with the class. If you want to switch to other classes, please let the office know. You can switch to most elective classes, but some are no longer open.
Students who choose the robotics class as the elective class should pay the necessary material fee in order to continue the class. Please do so this week.
各位家長，
本週六，中文學校正常上課。10月17日，因為高中的所有教室需要用來考試，所以當日中文學校沒有課。年度行事曆及其他信息可以在學校的網站找到。
本週六是教室家長見面會的日子。家長如果希望參觀課題教學情況，可以在11：00到各班級觀看。學校老師會在11：30中文課後在高中樓下的午餐區同本班的家長見面，介紹自己的教學風格，教學要求以及回答家長關係的關於中文學習的問題。在此期間，所有才藝課照常。個別教室因為在上才藝課，不能參加，包括，K-1 （謝老師）， K-2（郭老師）， K-3（葉老師）和繁體一冊（杜老師）。這些班的家長如果需要同老師交流，請在平時上下課的時候或者單獨約談。
由於黏土捏塑的老師因故無法繼續教學，該課將由紙藝課取代。相關的說明已經在網上，也可以參考附件。希望原黏土班學生留在這個班，如果有需要轉出，請通知辦公室。大多數才藝課仍開放，個別由於教學的連貫性已經不接受新學生了。
機器人（Robotics）班的學生需要繳納材料費，沒有繳納的同學將無法繼續選修本課。請速辦理。
